Born: 1 June 1959 in Troy, NY, USA.

Catfan Timothy Forbes with Catwoman (Jolene Twomey)

My story: Born in New York’s Capital District, I became a Catfan when I saw Julie Newmar on Batman om 1966. It happened again when I saw the show 36 years later on TV Land.

And when the show aired again, I became curious about the Batman comics. I was not only surprised that Catwoman had her own comic, but that her character had changed in 2001. I was delighted to see the change, and immediately was hooked.

Two years later, on 14 August 2004, I began this Web site. It moved to its own URL in January 2006. By that time, I had attended conventions as a Catwoman henchman.

Never did I ever anticipate that my interest in Catwoman would take me into new directions. I have met two of the three 1966 Catwomen, Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether. I also have met Batman stars Adam West, Burt Ward and Malachi Throne. And, finally, I have met the voice of Catwoman herself, Adrienne Barbeau.

I've learned more about Batman, and about how the comic itself developed. It was quite a revelation. I’m no expert, but I have a better understanding of the character now than I did in 2001.

As of 11 March 2007: I am doing preproduction work for my fan film, Batman 1969. Catwoman plays a major role here. The fan film is also a crossover with The FBI, the ABC crime drama that ran from 1965 to 1974, as well as the 1966-67 William Dozier-produced series, The Green Hornet. And I already have corresponded with FBI star Efrem Zimbalist Jr.
