Batman Day is being celebrated on this day (21 September 2024) around this country and elsewhere. Created by the late Bob Kane and Bill Finger, the character has had an impact on so many levels. And that includes me!!!
On that note, we attended the Granite State Comic Con in Manchester, NH, for the first time since 2016, and our first comic con in over one year. Attendance has increased greatly over the past eight year, and it is our opinion the venue needs to find a MUCH larger facility. That said, it ultimately was a delight to attend. We had a chance to meet Batman cosplayer Matches Malone again. His interactions with children alone make him a true hero in the best sense of the word.
We also had a chance to see other cosplayers, including another Batman and Hawkgirl. And we had a great time!!!
