June is a very eventful month in our Gotham world. It starts off with the webmaster’s birthday on 1 June, when Timothy John Forbes made his entry in Troy, NY. Cast members from our first fan film, Batman 1969, also celebrate birthdays: Michael Janetakes (Commissioner Gordon) on 2 June; Richard Craig (Dick Greyson) on 8 June; and (we think) Jon Rooke (Wildcat) and Mike Robertson (Bender) on 14 June.
The coronavirus has greatly slowed our efforts in getting the fan series under way, as have other factors. However, story lines are being worked on, and we hope to find our redhaired leading lady(ies). It’s no secret that Jill St. John has been a huge creative inspiration for us, but today’s audiences would envision seeing Christina Hendricks in such a role.
But right now, reality has the upper hand. We all have to get through this virus and the turmoil that has gripped the United States. If there are any plans to film again in Toronto, that’s not feasible given the current border closure. Meantime, we welcome story ideas even as we work on our own efforts.
PS: We HAD to put in the image at the top!!! 😉
Catwoman’s 100-page spectacular
Today (2 June 2020) marks the release of the 100-page Catwoman spectacular. We hope to get a copy of that soon. More to come.
