Pussycat from the 1966 Batman series is having another one of those birth anniversaries.
Lesley Sue Goldstein, who would become Lesley Gore, made her entrance into the world on 2 May 1946 in Brooklyn, NY. She burst onto the music scene 17 years later with the hit, “It’s My Party,” By the time she made her appearance as Pussycat, one of Catwoman’s henchwomen, in January 1967, her music chart career was fading. However, she did graduate from college the following year, and kept on performing until her passing in 2015.
