Starting on Sunday, 30 April, our Feline world has seen a number of birthdays and birth anniversaries! April ended with the 65th birthday of the 1992 Catwoman, Michelle Pfeiffer, who remains a busy actress today.
Other dates are:
- 2 May: The 77th birth anniversary of the late Lesley Gore, who played Pussycat on the 1966 Batman series. A memorable pop singer, she kept on singing until her death in 2015 at age 68;
- 16 May: The 86th birth anniversary of Yvonne Craig, the 1967 Batgirl. A sweet lady in real life, she made a memorable impression in the short time she was on the Batman series. We also lost her in 2015;
- 22 May: Camren Bicondova, who played Selina Kyle in the 2014-2019 series Gotham, turned 24. She is, to date, the youngest performer to play the woman destined to be the Feline Fatale;
- 24 May: Sharyn Wynters, who played Eenie (sidekick to Julie Newmar’s Catwoman in 1966) celebrated another year. She is an active presence on Facebook;
- 27 May (today): Lee Meriwether, who played Catwoman in the 1966 Batman movie, turns 88!!! She was also Miss America for 1955, and remains as busy as ever;
- 1 June: The webmaster; and
- 11 June: Adrienne Barbeau, the voice of Catwoman in animated Batman productions in the 1990s!!!
