Batman and Molly Post. Molly may become a major character in the new fan series.

An older Bat, and many ladies!

The Carrie Kelley Robin

Our long-planned fan series, tentatively titled Carrie’s World, is moving closer to realization. The technical success of The Conquest of Batman has shown that we can produce a high-quality production.

Initially, we were inspired by the 1966 Batman series when we came up with the idea of a series over 10 years ago. The idea was to take the tone of the series pilot episode and take the new series on a more serious route, exploring the characters and their personal lives. We also want to use more of the detective aspect of the Batman character.

And we admit that the actress Jill St. John has been a major source of inspiration as well.

That said, gamers looking for a pitch-black dark series will be gravely disappointed. Those looking for the high camp of the 1966 series will likewise be let down. But for those looking for more of a detective series that looks to provide humor and a good time, this should be your cup of tea.

Through the years, we’ve had to contend with delays of one sort or another, whether it’s due to work, relocation (from New York to Massachusetts) and lack of money. But things are looking much better. Here are what we’re looking for, casting-wise:

Jill St. John as Molly the Mole. She inspired both Frank Miller and Neal Adams.
  • Molly Post and/or Carrie Kelley: Young lady/ladies who look like Ms. St. John or Christina Hendricks. They should stand (ideally) no more than 5’6″ or so.
  • Other redheads: You know, for Batgirl, Poison Ivy …
  • Cosplay villains: They’re so much into the role as it is. And we don’t want to just have Batman fighting mobsters and thugs all the time.

Beyond that, even though we’re featuring an older Batman, we want the emphasis on the ladies! More on that later!
