Fifty-five years ago tonight, we saw magic on the screen when the Batman series debuted on ABC. We won’t be able to see the first installment at 7:30 tonight due to work commitments, but plan on seeing both installments tomorrow night!!!
And the series DOES matter. It helped hugely to bring back Catwoman after a hiatus of 12 years, and it also introduced us to Molly the Mole, played by Jill St. John. And 55 years later, both actresses who played those roles are still with us!!!
