Carrie’s World

A female Robin—plus Catwoman

Carrie's World is a planned fan "series" that will operate on the same basis as a television show. Though Frank Miller created the character, the series itself can be seen as an extension of the fan film Batman 1969. It also draws inspiration from the 1966 Batman series.

And yet, it is its own animal, so to speak.

Carrie's World chronicles the adventures of the female Robin, and she interacts with the various heroes and villains in Gotham City—and also manages to get into escapades out of town, too.

As of this writing, Batman 1969 remains in production. However, shooting for Carrie's World will begin in summer 2009 in Saratoga County, NY, with additional shooting planned in Oneida and Onondaga counties, NY.
