We’re sorry that we’ve been so busy, but we want to take this time to mention birthdays and birth anniversaries.
This started on 30 April, when Michelle Pfeiffer, who played Catwoman in 1992’s Batman Returns, turned 63. Two days later was the 75th anniversary of the birth of Lesley Gore, who played Pussycat on the Batman series in January 1967. She died six years ago of cancer. Another Cat “henchwoman,” Eenie, also had a birthday. Sharyn Wynters, who played the character, marked another year around the sun on Monday, 24 May.
And finally, Lee Meriwether, who played the Feline Fatale in the 1966 Batman motion picture and also had a role in the series in early 1967, turns 86 today. We wish all of these ladies well!!!
